The 7 Day Nervous System Reset Retreat at Blue Lotus Yoga House is not a performance-oriented yoga holiday or an escape filled with distractions. It is a carefully held space designed to help the body shift out of chronic stress and survival mode, and gently return to regulation, presence, and inner balance.

Set in a peaceful tropical environment near the ocean in Hikkaduwa, this intimate retreat combines mindful yoga, meditation, breathwork, nervous system education, deep relaxation practices, and therapeutic guidance in a way that is grounding, practical, and deeply restorative.

The focus is not on pushing limits or “fixing yourself.”
It is about creating the conditions in which your nervous system can finally exhale.

Throughout the week, guests learn how chronic stress affects the body and mind – and more importantly, how to regulate it through simple, sustainable practices that can be integrated into everyday life long after the retreat ends.

Daily practices include:

-Mindful Hatha Yoga focused on awareness rather than performance
-Guided meditation inspired by Buddhist mindfulness teachings
-Breathwork and nervous system regulation techniques
-Deep relaxation sessions such as Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, sound healing, and guided inner journeys
